Is this the right group?

I've long been playing with the concept of how we might (or might not)
be able to understand alien math and/or language.

Specifically, the idea is that, on a distant planet, explorers have
found a grade school of a long-dead race and faxed back a textbook.
It's up to us to try to figure out what it all means.

I've thrown together some sample pages of a spelling primer, and I'd
appreciate some feedback on how clear/understandable they are.
(They're rather rough, just simple line drawings and a crude version
of the font I'm creating.)

Is this group an appropriate place to post links to the pages and ask
for feedback?

Go ahead and post, in my opinion. If this ng ever had an original
charter, I for one have no idea what it was/is. Your idea sounds
interesting, and I would definitely say that it has to do with an
artificial language.
